Open-source low-field MRI scanner OSI² ONE

This is an ongoing project to develop an open-source low-field MRI system in a modular design.

Current specifications:

  • Permanent magnet B0=50mT
  • Head and extremities (inner bore diameter ~30cm)
  • Spatial resolution 1.5×1.5x5mm³
  • Portable
  • Weight ~150kg
  • Standard power socket (230V/16A)
